Off Season Information

The low tourist season in Niagara Falls is between September and June, which is what we call the ‘OFF SEASON’ period.

MINYAN
We do NOT have a regular scheduled Minyan during the off-season. But you are likely not the only one visiting. And by registering to our amazing Minyan Maker website, we often get a Minyan. Please visit FallsMinyan.com to register and help make the Minyan.

The Shul is open and accessible 24/7/365, located on the second floor of the Jewish Welcome Centre, and can be easily accessed with a key code written in Hebrew on the door. In case 10 visitors show up, there is a Sefer Torah available to make a Minyan. Additionally, there is a mini kitchenette with coffee and cake for visitors to enjoy. (It is important to note that there is no facility in the Jewish Welcome Centre to heat up, refrigerate/freeze, or store food.)

KOSHER FOOD

The independently owned restaurant that operates out of Jewish Niagara is not open during OFF-SEASON.

In order to accommodate Jewish visitors during the off-season, we try to have some kosher food options available. Please message us ahead of your trip (minimum of 48 hours advance notice) so we can properly coordinate. A Shabbat menu is not available throughout the off-season.
